Debora Matthews has recently been awarded funding for the a symposium at the International Association of Dental Research meeting in Toronto, July 2 2008 entitled "Integrated Knowledge Translation in the Oral Health Research Community". Funding is through the Knowledge Translation branch of CIHR and is for $9880
Participants at the symposium will learn:
1. What Knowledge Translation encompasses
2. The importance of KT research
3. How KT can benefit their current and future research
4. Strategies to involve decision makers in future research projects
