The 6th edition of Ingle’s Endodontics6 was made available in the print
version in May 2008. This text has been deemed the “Bible of
Endodontics”. Editors John I. Ingle from the Loma Linda University,
Leif Baklund of Loma Linda University and Craig Baumgartner of the
University of Oregon have included 78 contributing authors from all
over the world to cover 40 chapters in this 1555 page book. Weighing
over 10.4 lbs this is one of the most detailed and exhaustively
prepared books in Dentistry. Chapter 6 on the “Morphology of Teeth and
Their Root Canal Systems” was authored by Blaine M Cleghorn (Dalhousie
University), William H Christie (University of Manitoba) and Charles
Goodacre (Dean, Loma Linda).
