Dean Boran Presents at the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education Atlantic Workshop
Despite extremely blustery conditions, there was a full house at the Atlantic Workshop of the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE) on Friday, January 29, 2010, where Dean Boran presented on "Lessens from the Converted." Registrants of the workshop were advancement professionals representing many universities of eastern Canada.
The presentation was to be jointly delivered with Dr. Noreen Golfman, Dean, School of Graduate Studies, Memorial University of Newfoundland, but Dr. Golfman's flight was delayed. As a result, two of Dr. Golfman's colleagues from MUN presented in her absence.
Dean Boran's presentation, which was well received, focused on his commitment to advancement initiatives within Dalhousie's Faculty of Dentistry.
