Dalhousie Visits the Ontario Dental Association
In May 2010 Dean Boran led his alumni and development team into the heart of downtown Toronto. Dr. Boran, Nancy Webb, Kelly Maher and Jen Laurette were found in a Dalhousie booth on the exhibition floor where they were able to catch up with alumni and answer many, many questions from students interested in studying at Dalhousie. It was the first time that Dalhousie’s Faculty of Dentistry had a booth at the Ontario Dental Association Annual General Meeting. It was a great opportunity to see many of our friends.
On Thursday, May 13 Dean Boran hosted a group of over 35 alumni and friends at a cocktail reception. The group was having such a lively time that they ended up staying much later than the scheduled 9:00 pm end time. In fact, a few alumni from other Universities joined the Dalhousie group because of the obvious fun everyone was enjoying.
Look for Dean Boran and the Dalhousie team next spring at the ODA, and in June in PEI and Alberta!
