Alumni from 1957-2010 gathering in Sydney Dr. Boran and Marjorie MacDonald enjoying the post-lecture reception The St. John's event marked the first part of the Alumni Lecture Series - a complimentary hour-long Continuing Dental Education lecture, followed by a reception. A sizeable crowd enjoyed a talk by Dr. Gorman Doyle (DDS'80), who spoke on Implant Technology Education alongside 2010 DDS graduates Jon Ballard and Paddy Snow. Dr. Boran would like to thank Alfred (DDS'78) and Janet Dean for offering their lovely home as a venue for the Sydney event, Marjorie MacDonald (DDS'84) for her assistance with the St. John's event, and Development Officer Jen Laurette & Alumni Officer Jon Bruhm for accompanying him and organizing these successful events! The Faculty of Dentistry paid a visit to some of its island friends on November 3 & 4, as Dean Thomas Boran (DDS'78) hosted a pair of alumni events in Sydney, NS and St. John's, NL.
