Working in collaboration with BlueLight analytics Inc., Dr. Price will develop a resin tray device and use it to assess the microhardness of various resin dental fillings using a variety of curing lights. The NSERC Engage Grants Program is intended to foster the development of research partnerships between academic researchers and Canadian-based companies.
Dr. Richard Price has been awarded a $25,000 NSERC Engage Grant for his research project "Defining the requirements for a commercial device that can be used to assess adequacy of the polymerization of light cured resin materials".
