Prosthodontic Olympics 2011 Update

The 13th Annual Prosthodontics Olympics was  held on January 31, 2011. As tradition dictates, everyone had fun.  This year, there were over $6000 in prizes, including iPods, curing lights, and implant kits.  Team Names were Buffy the Vampire Surveyors, Plane Guiders, Occlusal Forces, Pirates of Prosthodontia, Wizards of Proz, Vitallium and Secret Bonding Agents. The competition was stiff, with Sonja Tosic setting a World Record of 37 seconds for boxing an impression and Allison Richard setting a new World Record time of 1 min 55 sec for the Rubber Dam event.   The Best Costume Award went the Wizards of Proz.  The Gold Medal medalists for this year were:
