Mr. Bruce Moxley was recently awarded the Nova Scotia Dental Association Friend of Dentistry Award for outstanding service to the dentistry profession. Bruce was recognized at the awards dinner at the NSDA Annual Meeting recently held at the Digby Pines Resort.
Also in June, Bruce was one of four deserving University members of the Dalhousie University Professional and Managerial Group, DPMG, to be honored with the first Outstanding Achievement Awards at the DPMG Annual Professional Development Day. Sponsored by Dr. Boran, Dean, Jim Neale from HR and many others this award acknowledged Bruce's many contributions to the daily operations and strategic vision and focus of the Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Boran spoke about the significant long term financial arrangements and strategies that Bruce has developed, in cooperation with University Financial Services, that will guarantee that the Faculty's clinical equipment and facilities can be renewed now and into the foreseeable future.
