Dr. Mary McNally Named as Fellow In
CIHR Strategic Training Program

Dr. McNally, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie University has been awarded a fellowship in the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Strategic Training Program: Transdiciplinary Understanding and Training on Research – Primary Health Care (TUTOR – PHC). Dr. McNally was offered one of the twelve positions available through this innovative Program and will be supervised by Dr. Paul Allison of McGill University.

In partnership with CIHR, TUTOR-PHC is a national strategic training program for interdisciplinary research in primary health care conducted by educators at the University of Western Ontario, Dalhousie University, McMaster University and Université de Montréal. One of CIHR's core objectives is to provide leadership in building capacity within Canada's health research community through the training and development of researchers, and fostering the development and ongoing support of the scientific careers of women and men in health research.
