Class Reunions
While we are very pleased to have so many Centennial reunions in the works, there are some classes that we have not yet heard from. If anyone from the following classes might be interested in organizing a reunion, please send us an email!
DDS: 2011, 2010, 2006, 2004, 1995, 1994, 1993, 1990, 1983, 1976, 1975, 1973, 1961
We do not have many DDH or BDH reunions planned at the moment, but would welcome more! |
A Note From The Centennial Chair
My fellow alumni,
The Dalhousie Dentistry Centennial, the 100th Anniversary of our first graduating class, will take place in Halifax from May 23-26, 2012. Alumni, students, friends and past/present faculty and staff are invited to join us as we Celebrate Our Past and Embrace The Future of Dentistry at Dalhousie.
What's Happening?
The Centennial Schedule has been updated, and includes information about our social events, continuing dental education and personal development offerings, and our unique Convocation Ceremony. In addition, the Nova Scotia Dental Association and College of Dental Hygienists of Nova Scotia will also be holding their 2012 Annual General Meetings in conjunction with the Centennial.
Get The Gang Back Together
The Centennial offers a special opportunity for you to see your former classmates and instructors. We know of at least 53 classes that are planning group activities in conjunction with the Centennial. Seize this special opportunity to reconnect with your class! A list of planned reunions is posted on our website. If you would like to contact one of these groups, or if you would like to organize a reunion, send us an e-mail and we'll help get you started.
Will You Be There?
Our Dean, Tom Boran (DDS'78) asked this important question during our student-produced Centennial promo video. Whether you would like to participate as a full conference delegate, or to attend some of our social events, please answer with a "yes" by registering for the Centennial today, and join us for this once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Registration is available on our website, and those who do so by February 29th
will be eligible for an early bird rate, as well as a ballot into a draw for an iPad 2.
Thank you for your consideration. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Best wishes,

Dr. John Christie (DDS'71)
Chair, Dalhousie Dentistry Centennial
