The Faculty of Dentistry, Dalhousie University is seeking applications from a qualified Prosthodontist to fill a full-time, probationary tenure track Faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. Qualified candidates may be considered for an immediate tenure track position and the position of Head of the Division of Fixed Prosthodontics in the Department of Dental Clinical Sciences.

Responsibilities will include didactic and clinical teaching in all aspects of Prosthodontics including fixed, removable, implants and occlusion as well as participation in individual and collaborative research, continuing education, Faculty committees and administrative duties.

Candidates must have completed a Master’s Degree from an accredited, specialty program in Prosthodontics and are expected to have didactic and clinical teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrable record of research activity and a background in administration. Salary and academic rank will
be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, experience and achievements.

The successful applicant must be eligible for specialty licensure in Nova Scotia. Private Practice privilege is integrated with this appointment. Private practice opportunity is available within the Faculty’s intra-mural practice.
