Individuals who are current active patients of the Dental School qualify for emergency dental treatment. University students, visitors and individuals away from home and do not have a local dentist, can be seen by our Emergency Faculty dentist. The Dental School will try to accomodate any person who has pain, bleeding or swelling in a timely fashion.
Please call Patient Services at (902) 494-2101. Our Clerks are available from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. during the academic school year. They will discuss the nature of the problem and provide you with an appropriate appointment.
Active patients who require after-hours emergency assistance should call (902) 494-2101. An Operator will assist you from 5:00 - 9:00 pm Thursdays and Fridays and 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. weekends and holidays.
