The Faculty of Dentistry, School of Dental Hygiene now offers a one-year degree completion program in Dental Hygiene. Graduates of the program will be awarded a Bachelor of Dental Hygiene degree.
Enrolment is limited to 16 students; and the program begins in September, 2008
The degree completion program will provide graduates with a diploma in Dental Hygiene the opportunity to further their studies in the field of dental hygiene. Graduates of the Bachelor of Dental Hygiene will be prepared to work in a collaborative, inter-professional health care system. The degree completion program also offers students instruction and experience in the management of diverse practice settings in varying provincial and state jurisdictions; increased opportunities to work with an aging population with compromising and degenerative health concerns; and a foundation to access graduate studies to support education and administrative career opportunities in Dental Hygiene.
