How to Apply - US & International Applicants

The Dalhousie University undergraduate application form and application fee ($70.00 CDN) and Dental Hygiene Supplemental Application form should be submitted to

by March 15. The application forms may be obtained from the Office of the Registrar, from the Faculty of Dentistry, or by downloading the form from the website. Please note that the deadline is March 15, although the printed Dalhousie Undergraduate application form states that the deadline is March 1 in error.

Applicants must provide university transcripts for all university work completed. Mid-term or first term final grades should be supplied as soon as they are available. Final official transcripts must be provided from the applicant's university Registrar's Office directly to the Registrar, Dalhousie University by June 1.  

Applicants are encouraged to submit all information that they believe should be taken into consideration by the Admissions Committee, such as special circumstances or minority group membership. This information may be provided in the form of a confidential letter from the applicant to the Admissions Committee, Faculty of Dentistry.  

Applicants are contacted by e-mail or regular mail once applications have been received, and information is provided on the process of the application.

Applicants must be completed by June 1 to be considered for acceptance; and any applications that are incomplete after June 1 will be considered if unfilled places remain in the entering class.
