There are many financial gift funds that exist within the Faculty to support students. You can contribute to building-up an existing fund or consider a substantial gift that would set-up a new fund.
Some special funds friends and colleagues of the Faculty are donating to:
Dr. Noel Andrews Memorial Fund – a prize awarded to the student entering their final year of study who demonstrated an outstanding proficiency in Periodontics.
Dr. William A. MacInnis Scholarship Fund – a prize awarded to the graduating student who has demonstrated a strong commitment to the ethical practice of dentistry.
Dr. Gaum-Brayton Endodontic Scholarship Fund – a prize awarded to the student entering their final year of study who has demonstrated an outstanding proficiency in Endodontics.
The Gifts and Memorial Scholarship Fund – for entrance scholarships awarded to the students entering their first year of dentistry based on academic excellence. We soon hope to offer the same scholarship to the student entering their second year of study, based on academic excellence. We need to offer financial incentives to attract the best and brightest potential students. The Faculty wishes to grow this fund through Annual gifts, special gifts and Planned gifts to a substantial fund. Help the Faculty make this wish come true!
Dr. Doug Chaytor Continuing Education Fund – proceeds from this fund will be used to sponsor an annual Continuing Education lecture in the area of Prosthodontics.
The Faculty works very hard to inspire each and every dental and dental hygiene student to be the best they can be . Maintaining the best facilities and offering excellent financial support to students is an important part of the work of the Faculty.
Donations to the Annual Fund, Planned gifts and other gift options are how corporations including dental suppliers, alumni and friends help make this happen.
We are very grateful for each donation made to the Faculty of Dentistry. We ensure that our donors requests are met and that each dollar donated goes to the area of their greatest interest. You can designate gifts to help fund any of the following: equipment for the clinic; research projects; student scholarships; continuing education initiatives; library holdings; Alumni Anchor; student events; or you can allow the Alumni Relations Committee to determine the area where your gift would have the greatest impact.
